The project specifications established a clear objective for Cycling Ability: to provide users with insights into the cycling routes they are equipped to handle. This feature is designed to help users better understand their capabilities by identifying their strengths and weaknesses across three specific skill sets.

In this initiative, my responsibility was to design the user experience for the Edge device. Given that this was a new feature for Garmin, effective communication with both the physiology and programming teams was crucial to ensure that all requirements were met. My design focused on presenting essential information and data in a clear and comprehensible way.

The finalized design prominently displays the user’s "Ability Profile Type" at the top of the main page within the feature, accompanied by a description that offers additional context regarding their profile. To further illuminate their strengths and weaknesses, I created "progression bars" for each skill category, visually demonstrating their proficiency in those areas. Additionally, to enrich the main page, I introduced a secondary screen accessible via the "View Analysis" button, which provides more detailed insights into users' strengths and weaknesses across each ability category.
